Ilife 11 For MacIlife 09 Install Dvd Dmg

As part of standard good practice I always make a backup copy (with Toast), or use Disk Utility to make a disk image that I then backup to an archive. For some reason the iLife'09 dvd will not allow this. Disk Utility says' Unable to create iLife 09 Install DVD.dmg. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 P5210 Root.zip there. (Input/Output error.) Toast starts to read tracks, then says: 'Read errors have been found on this media. You may enable the Use Disk Recovery option to recover your data.' I really don't think the disk is defective, but that there is something else at work here. There is nothing wrong with my software or hardware BTW.

Go, wait and ready. Message was edited by: schmilo Jan 31, 2009 2:17 AM. I know you ended up with a bad disc, but I too employ the same practice that you do. But I can't seem to fit the disk image onto a 4.7 GB DVD-R. I've tried 2 brands to no avail.

Disk Utility says' Unable to create iLife 09 Install DVD.dmg. Can't backup copy or make.dmg file of iLife '09? Have you successfully been able to install.

Both times I'm told that my blank media doesn't have the capacity for the image. Which doesn't make sense. The iLife Installer disk isn't a Dual Layer DVD.

I've considered removing a few elements from the disk image to get it under the bar, but wanted to snoop around first and see if anyone else is having issues trying to make a backup copy of their DVD or what they did to get it to fit on standard DVD 4.
